Starting SDECOPILOT at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin

I have started my position at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, funded through the DFG Walter Benjamin Programme, working on SDECOPILOT: Assisting Developers in Building Correct Software with Debugging Agents.

The Clarification Challenge

I am co-organizing the Clarification Challenge (as part of ICSE 2027 Competition Track), which examines how AI coding assistants can recognize ambiguous requirements and ask useful clarifying questions before generating code.

Serving on the FSE 2027 program committee

I will serve on the research-track program committee for FSE 2027.

Dissertation prize shortlist at SE 2026

My PhD thesis, Neural Bug Detection, has been shortlisted for the dissertation prize of GI’s Software Engineering division (SWT). I will present it at SE 2026 in Bern.

Joining SnT at the University of Luxembourg

I have joined the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT), University of Luxembourg, as a postdoctoral researcher working with Mike Papadakis in the SerVal group.

PhD defense at the University of Oldenburg

I have defended my PhD thesis, Neural Bug Detection, at the University of Oldenburg on 16 May 2025, supervised by Heike Wehrheim.
